Rules for Renting Our Community Room

Please note that the following rules apply to all rentals, unless otherwise agreed directly with the responsible coordinator. If other instructions are provided at the time of rental, these take precedence.

Basic Rules

  • The room may only be rented by persons over 18 years of age.

  • The room must not be used in a way that disturbs nearby neighbors.

  • Overnight stays are not allowed.

  • Alcoholic beverages and drugs are not permitted in the room.

  • Cooking is prohibited due to insufficient ventilation. Prepared food may be brought in and can be heated in the microwave.

  • Renters are responsible for the behavior of their guests during the rental period.

  • The room may not be sublet.

Safety and Order

  • Smoking is prohibited indoors.

  • Emergency exits and escape routes must not be blocked.

  • Smoke detectors and other safety equipment must not be tampered with.

  • The room must not be left unlocked during or after the rental period.

Inventory and Equipment

  • Inventory (chairs, tables, crockery, cleaning equipment, etc.) must be returned to its proper place after use.

  • Inventory may not be taken out of the room.

  • Any damage or loss must be reported immediately to the responsible coordinator.

  • Renters are responsible for all damage occurring during the rental period.

Booking and Responsibility

  • Booking is done in consultation with the responsible coordinator: Kerstin Stenberg Rudkvist.

  • At the time of rental, an agreement must be signed confirming that the rules have been read and understood.

  • The responsible coordinator will always accompany the renter to provide information and show where cleaning supplies are located.

Hours

  • Weekdays: rentals are possible until 9:00 PM.

  • Weekends: rentals are possible until midnight.

    • Please note: Quiet hours apply in the room in the same way as in the apartments, which means that disturbing noise is not allowed after 10:00 PM. Between 10:00 PM and midnight, activities may continue, but they must be carried out without disturbing neighbors.

  • Cleaning after late rentals is done according to agreement with the responsible coordinator.

  • The room may be unavailable due to residents’ association activities. Information about scheduled activities can be found here.

Fees and Deposit

  • Deposit: 1,500 SEK, refundable after approved cleaning and inspection of the room.

  • Rental fee: 200 SEK, non-refundable.

  • The high deposit is due to past misuse and missing inventory.

Care and Cleaning

  • The room must be left in the same condition as it was upon arrival.

  • Permanent alterations, such as nails in the walls, are strictly prohibited.

  • Table paper must be provided by the renter.

  • Trash and recycling must be disposed of in the designated areas.

  • Renters are responsible for orderliness outside the room as well (yard, entrance, etc.).

  • A cleaning checklist is posted in the room and must be followed.

Consequences of Rule Violations

  • Misuse or inadequate cleaning may result in a warning.

  • Repeated violations or failure to follow the rules after a warning may result in the renter being barred from future rentals.
